Chairperson and Managing Director Neveen El Tahri |
Has
30 years of financial experience, starting with more than 12 years with
Chase/ CIB corporate banking experience, before moving to the
entrepreneurial world in 1992. In 1994, she established Delta Securities Egypt and then the Delta
group of financial companies (asset management, corporate finance), and
steered the companies to be among the Egyptian Industry’s most
reputable companies. Since 2009, Neveen left active management of the
group to new partners (Rasmala) to focus on Delta Holding. Neveen was elected to the first elect board of the Egyptian Stock
Exchange from 1997-2003 and sat on the board of the Egyptian General
Authority for Investment (GAFI) from 2004 to 2009. She continues to be
the Country representative of the Royal Bank of Scotland (www.RBS.com)
previously ABN AMRO Bank since 2001 and currently serves on various
boards, including: Banque Misr Telecom Egypt Cairo Oil & Soap Co. Egypt Information Dissemination Co. (EGID) Upper Egypt Leasing Company
Neveen maybe the entrepreneur behind the
establishment of Delta Holdings but it is the strength of the board
that really make the added value, as their collective experiences
locally, regionally and internationally provides the excellent stimulus
for the new emerging need to focus on SME's.The group belief is that "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed it is the only thing that ever has". |
Board Members Gamal Moharam |
His professional experience extends internationally & locally with more than 30 years of banking experience. Commencing with Citibank, to AVP and Middle East representative of Fleet National bank, then between 1985 and 2002 Chief Representative of Bank of New York, in 2002 with the acquisition of Egyptian Commercial Bank brought in Piraeus Bank of Greece to become one of the main players in the banking arena in Egypt, headed by him till 2009 and today is to head the Gulf National Bank in Egypt. He also is the Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce (noting his continuous role as it's treasurer for many years), as well as board member of Guzira Club, Eastern Tobacco among many others. |
Sherif Samy |
An
experienced senior executive and advisor in the fields of investment,
restructuring and organization development. He is the Chairman of
SKILLinvest Consulting SAE and eKnowledge SAE. Sherif is also a member
of the board of directors of the General Authority for Investment &
Free Zones (Egypt’s investment promotion agency and company regulator)
and member of the board of trustees of Egypt’s Institute of Directors. Sherif serves as member of the board of directors of a number of companies operating in a variety of sectors: capital market, mining, logistics, engineering projects, food, urban development and education. He is also a member of the National Democratic Party's Economic Policy Committee. He previously worked for the global consulting firm Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) in the US, Lebanon and the Arab Gulf, predominantly serving financial services organizations. Sherif holds a BA (Commerce) High Honors from Alexandria University, a Diploma from the Paris Chamber of Commerce and attended several executive programs at Harvard, Wharton, Columbia, Darden (University of Virginia), IMD, Kellogg (Northwestern University) and the University of California @ Los Angeles . |
Dina Waked |
Lecturer
in Law with an LLM from Harvard Law School, and PhD from Harvard due in
2010. She specializes in monopoly and anti-trust law. She also graduated suma cum laude with a Bsc in Economics from AUC. She teaches business law and antitrust law at Science Po and CERAM universities in France. Dina's legal experience in SEC Capital Market Laws and Merger's and acquisitions bring to Delta Holdings tremendous value and training experience needed for our entrepreneurs. |
Dr. Hamdi El Tahri |
A veteran Politician & Diplomat who served primarily in key
countries at vital times of importance, Khartoum in 1956, Panama in
1958, Beirut 1960, Finland in 1965, London in 1967 and finally resided
in Egypt in 1972 to work as first under secretary of foreign affairs in
the Presidents office. Dr. Tahri wrote 20 political books that namely
tackled politically sensitive issues |
